I keep getting errors on a project of mine to the tune of:

"You canceled the previous operation." multiple times and I don't know why I'm getting them. I can't think of any changes that I made to my project that would have caused this. Is my project file corrupt? Do I have a couple of forms or other modules that are corrupt?

If anyone else has seen this error message and either know what causes it or how to fix it, I'm all ears.

I had this problem ages ago and couldn't find out why.

It suddenly went away one day for whatever reason, I'll never know.

This happened (I think)when two users edited the same record at the same time, so some-where I had a record locked.

Do a search on each users machine to see if their is an orphaned ldb file when they are out of the system, if so delete it.

Try a make table query on each of your tables, then delete the original and re-name the new one to the same as your deleted table so as to not disrupt any of your relationships or links.

Don't forget to back it up first.

sorry this is all the advice I can give.

T,

I ran into this. In my case, it may have been caused when I deftly exited an app I was developing in the middle of a timer event (which was compacting remote files). After I calmed down, I discovered that a subform was "corrupt" -- that is, whether I tried to open the sub- or main form, I kept receiving that message: "You canceled the previous operation." (When I deleted the sub from the main, the main form opened fine.)

My fix: I deleted the subform and imported an old one from a day-old backup file.

Hang in there.

Regards,
Tim
