Help in creating Access document

Good Afternoon All,
Please be gentle as im a newbie here, im also rather new to Access, hence my request for help :)

I am considering setting up an access database that i can use for something that will hold a list of locations.

I will need to be able to print off a list of these locations with extra blank columns in a report form by area.

I will also need to add times that these locations were visited and print a further report of the whole list that can be sent to someone showing the times/dates and problem that was found at the specific location

Any ideas? or am i barking up the wrong tree?
 
And access database would easily handle this. Set up a location table with the following fields:

key(autonumber); area(number); Location(text); date; time; problems(text)

The reports can easily be produced from this table
