Ok I have searched the forums, but nothing close came up.

I am running Access 2000, and my properties pop-up box in MIA. I have set my resolution up to the maximum and it is just gone. The program acts like it is bringing it up and the focus changes to the "missing" box, but it is no where to be found. Has anyone seen this before - where is it, what can I do? There are no scroll bars up/down or left/right so it doesn't look like it actually there.

I'm lost -

please help

Right click any object or control and select Properties from the list which opens.

Alternatively create a "toolbar" with the "Properties" icon. I have created a tool bar with icons which I commonly use and which are not in another toolbar and import same into every new mdb I create.

I know "how" to open the Properties box, thats the problem - it doesn't show up anywhere to be found.....

This is frustrating me so much....

I'm a little lost here, but try this:

Make sure the properties box is closed. Now open the properties box again. I know you can't see it, but this should give it the focus. Now press alt, then down arrow, then press Enter. Don't hold alt+down arrow; press each key separately. This selects the "Move" option for the properties form. Your cursor should turn into North-East-South-West arrows. Use the arrow keys to move the form and see if you can drag it in any direction to bring it into view.

I'm wondering if you were on DualView at one point (two monitors next to each other) and the properties form got dragged to the second monitor, and then when reverted back to a single monitor, the properties page is still trying to draw on the second monitor. I've have that happen during development before as the form was coming up on my second monitor while I was debugging/tracing code on the primary monitor. If you don't move that form back to the primary monitor, it will appear entirely off-screen with no scrollbars showing where it is. If that's what happened, then moving the properties window left or right (depending on where the secondary monitor was) will bring the properties window back into view.

You've probably drug the Properties window to a position on the screen which can't be seen. Try reducing the size of the form window you're on and then scroll to the extreme edges. It's there somewhere.
