HELP PLEASE!!!

Hey guys, I'm trying to create a link from b/w an Access 2000 record and a specific place (bookmark) in a Word 2000 document. So far I have been unsuccesful in getting to a specific point in the Word doc. Part of the problem, I guess, is that links cannot be used in an Access report. However, when I export the report to Word, it makes it an RTF file and makes the links useless. I'm trying to make it so someone who conducts a search and finds a record they need can link out to that record's source doc. Please help!

Oh yeah, when I try and link directly to the bookmark through a hyperlink in the table it tells me "The ADP file is not in the correct format for a MS Access project." What in the name of Bill Gates does that mean? Also, all my hyperlink fields in my forms seem REALLY messed up. They seem bound though I can't find that they are. I am getting so frustrated at linking through Access...
