Help With A Stock Database Any Ideas?

Hi guys hoping anyone can help me with any ideas they may have on helping me achieve the mammoth task.

Have a button that can be pressed and all order in that table above will go to the table below.

Another button that is on each line when the order has been sent down that can be pressed and the user can select which order(s) have been completed and the ones that haven’t been completed can be sent back up to the above table.

The ones that haven’t been completed may have to be stored in a table that keeps records of all the ones that haven’t been completed yet but when they are marked when completed they are removed from that table and then put into that table.

Filter out orders that are due 2 weeks or less but also allow the user to see order past 2 weeks i.e. 3weeks a month or even a year or 2.

Have a button that if all the order is completed it can be sent straight to some sort of completed table.

Allow the user to see all the records in the completed table and also include a search bar.

All this can be done with just the One Table.

You will need an extra Field to set a Status. Like Delivered, Waiting etc.

This way you simply change the status. No moving of records.

The main problem that i can see is that if we order 100 parts of the same products 95 are good but 5 are not how can i say that they are not alrite and only 95 have come in a 5 need to be sent back and 5 more new ones still need to be brought in the the major trouble we are having.

What we thought was to make 3 tables one for goods coming in so if 100/100 come in they are moved to that table.

Goods holding where if 95/100 come in the order is held in that table until the remaining 5 are brought in.

Goods awaiting so the order should arrive in about a week and it shows the user what items and how many are coming in.

So one week we may have 50 orders waiting to come in and be checked off and some weeks we may have one.

But the user also needs to be able to change the dates so the order can be brought forward days, weeks, months, and also the same for putting the order off and also canceling the order completed.

Any input on how to achieve this would be amazing.

I would have one table with order quantity, number of rejects, then a calculated textbox on a form that just calculates order quantity - number of rejects, to give you a grand total.

Then like Rain says, have a status table with a one to many to your order table and just toggle status's like backordered, holding, complete....etc
