Help with Calendar

I have a database with a calendar form that keeps up with a schedule of maintenance on units. I would like for the item in the calendar to show up a different color when I click that it is completed in the frmPMSchedule.

I have uploaded the file so you can see what I am working with.

If anyone can help me accomplish this it would greatly be appreciated.

I wanted to suggest that you use conditional formatting, but for some reason that I cannot determine when the event controls are highlighted, the conditional formatting is greyed out. However, when the date control on the form is highlighted, conditional formatting is allowed. You might want to look at conditional formatting the date controls or determine why the event controls don't allow conditional formatting.
