Help with Data in one field #deleted

Hi guys this is my first post, thanks in advance for all the help ive gaind from this forum.

My problem is ive developed a database shared on a network between about 12 users. Intermittently the same field within a record shows "#Deleted". Yet the records are still there but the field says it is deleted, It wont allow anyone to change it even if i open the table and try.

Usually compact and repair fixes the issue and then we can enter data in the field.

Any help would be appreciated

i have had this issue before, and i always was lead to believe that the line in the table is corrupt.

The way i fixed it was to re-create the line, with a new line and then it should be ok.

Yes i did this.

I think it may be caused by me having 'no record locks', I think people are maybe deleting records while someone else has them open. I cant be sure without replicating the issue.

Im going to try 'Edit record Lock'

i used to have the issue when i did have record locks, and now i have turned them off, and have had no issues since.

I use A97...
