help with editing records

my forms seem to be locked, i.e. i carnt edit them but can in table desig, though my friend can edit his records in his forms.

any suggestions please?

i went into the query which the form was based upon, and into datasheet view, i tried to edit the records but it wouldnt let me, i went back into design view and relised i had a dodgy relationship between two tables which shouldnt have been there.
