Help with Forms

How do I turn a Form in to a Search tool once ive created it?

My form is liked to a Query, so I would like to be able to update the Query without changing the Forms search ability.

It's not clear, at least to me, what you are trying to do. I presume you have a form that contains data and you want to search for a particular record so that you can change some details of that record. Is that it, otherwise please expand on your needs?
