I'm a long time user to Access but a new Builder and Coding. I've been tasked with building a database for my department for tracking our inventory. I originally took a sample template from MS Office and have customized it slowly to suite my own needs. However one stick little button is giving me fits!
Since this is my first post I am unable to post the link to MS Website. The database is under MS Office website for Templates in the MS Access 2007, Business section and it is called Inventory.
Unfortunately I can not load my new database from my work station.
I believe I have located the problem. When I switched the primary key in the Inventory table (From ID to Item) the macro in Inventory Transactions List form, New Transaction button began to error. It is now giving me error "You can't go to the specified record. You may be at the end of a recordset." Then pops my Macro with an error pertaining to the GoToRecord command.
I am unsure how to fix this. My macro and coding knowledge is limited. I tired switching the primary key back but that now gives me an error that there would be duplicat entries.
Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
