I have 2 tables that are linked with a one to many relationship. The main table has a list of changes that are going to take place. The 2nd table has the many different stations that the change could affect. People need the ability to view a report showing each change and what it affects. The problem I have is that when I put the sub-report on the form to show all of the affected stations, it ends up forcing the report to 3-4 pages. Is there a way that I can have all of the stations listed separated with commas instead of having them displayed one line at a time? I would like all of the stations to show up in one text box on the report that stays on one page. Any ideas?

Have you tried changing the columns on the subreport? You won't get the comma, but you have more width space filled up and less length.

I am not sure what you mean. The problem is that the values are stored in separate rows in the table. So it just lists them on the report one at a time. I need all of the values in the table related to one change to be displayed in a text box separated by commas or some character. Can you clarify what you mean?

In the page setup of the subreport in design view there is a columns tab or place that you can play with.

It can take a list like the following:

12345
45678
98765
32165
45687
32189

To something like:

12345 45678 98765
32165 45687 32189

I have used it very effectively with long lists of quality tag numbers we use for inventory control reporting. See the attachment. This isn't a prime example as there aren't many on these lists, but you can see how it saves space.

Edit: Attached print screen of where to find the coumns tab.
