Help!

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could give help on this,

I have a table called booking that has Booking ID, Time, Date, Cost, Member ID, Facility ID, Discount ID and Overall cost.

My overall cost however is Dependant on the Amount discounted off the original cost. However once i have this all in the form i can't get the information to appear in the booking table.

any thoughts?

If you are storing the cost of the item and the discount or discount amount, you should not be storing the overall cost as it can be calculated at runtime in a query (rules of normalization).

I have another issue now. I want to be able to make bookings but i want to stop double bookings so someone can't book something for 7am if it has already been booked any suggestions?

If you have a new question start a new thread. And please use a more meaningful title for your threads. Help! may be a good title for a film but not for a thread
