Hi I am having trouble customermising a database template, i have changed the fields that i needed and got rid of one that i did not but for some reason it will not work. can anyone help

The database file is a start, but please tell us in plain English exactly what you're trying to do, and precisely what is happening - preferably including the error message you're receiving - and where it's happening. (Specific form won't load, procedure X has Y error every time it runs, that kind of thing.)

The call tracker that i have tried to ammend for my own purposes is to log non contracted call outs, where by we log the call and then verbaly dispatch the call to the engineer.

I get messages like not in record set, urm, record source and it keeps looking for queries like extended customer employee and calls.

You get what messages exactly? You're in what forms, doing what actions? What is the code that runs when you try these actions? Things like that are what we're looking for.

If you keep getting told it's looking for specific queries, then it's quite likely that those queries got deleted and will need to be re-created.

I can't help you with your problem, but a more descriptive title for your thread will help others to help you. Many just ignore threads with zero information in the title.

It will also help the next guy that uses the search feature and your thread pops up.
