I have created a report that has everything i need and layout. however when i try to send it as an email via an rtf or html document it loses it formatting. Eg. the lines i have drawn the logo and the tick boxes for fields. does anyone know how i can email the report so that it doesnt lose any of its formatting. I heard of a snap shot but the recipient will need access installed to view it and it will mean they wouldnt be able to alter or fill in any details.

I also thought aboout creating a word document that has my layout and then creating a mail merge link to the query however this would mean i couldnt automate it froma button in access or can i?

One solution is to export the report as a PDF file (Acrobat Reader) which will keep the format. There are various addins/tools available to do this. One that I find useful is Win2PDF, search the net and you can get a trial version to try out.
