Highlighted text on tab change

Has anyone ever had this problem where the top-most textbox on a tabbed form is highlighted every time you change tabs? If so, is there a setting to make it stop doing that? It's weird because sometimes it doesn't do that.

By highlighted I mean like when you select text to copy paste, you first highlight it. Not a yellow highlighter.
