I have a form that has 2 subforms. Each subform is continuous. The forms is based on a project, subform1 is for expenditure, and subform2 is for irregularities. A project can have more than one expenditure and an expenditure can have more than one irregularity. I have the subforms linked so when you click on a record in subform1 then subform2 changes accordinly.

However when a record in subform2 has the focus you dont know which record in subform1 it relates to. Does anyone know of a way to do this, maybe by highlighting the record in subform1 when you are in subform2?

Can you explain a little more. Seems that if you have the two subforms connected, the selection in subform1 would filter the records displayed in subform2, so any record selected in subform two would be a sub of the currently selected record in subform 1.

It must mean that you want to know how to highlight whatever record is selected in the parent subform, as you navigate the child subform.

you've got it, when im on the child subform I want to be able to see what parent record im on, im going to take a look at your attachment.

Thanks
