How can count character "*" in Report Footer

I have searched the forum for count of character but I can't count character "*" in a text box ("d" or "s") on my report footer
Can anyone tell me of a simple or see my file?
All suggestions appreciated

You are doing it all wrong by trying to use the asterisk and count. Check out my revision of your query underlying the report and then the SUM control (instead of count) on your report.

I find way for used character "*" instead digit in detail section with count (or sum) it under report footer. i put correct my file for every boady.
