How can I "connect" my forms

Hiya,
I wonder if anyone could help me with a problem that i have...
I have created a form called 'Project', and within this form I have a command button that opens another form called 'SubProject'..what do i have to do so that if i open up my SubProject then this particular record is only associated with the particular Project form that i opened it from....

Would appreciate any help, comments...

You could set the filter on the pop up form to ref a field on the main form, or

You could have the pop up forms query use the main form field as a parameter...
