Hi,

Can someone explain to me how to disable the "altF11" function??

I seem to have created an application using Access2000.... now I also seem to have granted access to some user's.... some of whome know that they can change the access granted by me if the move to the back end on VB.
I also used the disable shiftbypass script that some miracle man wrote on this forum.... now if i hide all toolbars and menu bars using startup.... and my shiftbypass is set to true.... how do I as an administrator get to the back end? And my last question is how do I make my application popup as an "Application" (as in no access window at all? there was someone who wrote a script for this.... but I tried it and it messes MY application but works perfect if I use it seperately? Pls advice)

If someone is going to solve my problem pls let me know in laymans language... coz you guys seem to know everything in access and I created this application using most of the scripts that you guys wrote.

1st issue - dissable Alt + F11 - deselect Use Acess special keys in the Tools -> Startup options (see pic)

2nd issue... I was faced with the same thing, and not having the confidence with access security, I took this route. I reated a ustom menu item that opens a popup form. Enter a password and a form opens giving ME access to the Db window etc.

Hope the att helps

Dave
