How can I get the data in a field in a table from a form?

I am trying to get the value _ time data_ in a table from a form. I use [TableName]![FieldNam] but it does not work.
My work is distingust what time is the Morning, what time is afternoon and what time is everning. I try to do that by distingust PM and AM in the time. But PM stand for both afternoon and everning!! Anyone has ideas? please help me

Evening time is a local decision, its can depend on circumstances, for example shift starting times / ending times, shop opening and closing times.

Others say Night is 12midnight to 6, Day is 6AM to 6PM and Evening is 6PM to 12midnight.

In Spain, they do not think of evening time until about 8 or 9pm, up till then its afternoon time.

Some say, when its dark its night!!!

Its up to you really.
