how can i rename an attached pdf file? (1 Viewer)

Hi access programmers
i have an app that i scans and attaches docs
before i was naming my files like this

is there a way that i can create a button to rename my attachement in access subform and desktop with Nin field

I assume you do not save the files as attachments inside your database (in an attachment type field), but actually store the name and path as text in a short text field. If this is true then it should be a very easy job to do what you mention, look at the Name statement to rename the file and simply update the stored path in the subform's control or record source.
