Hi there, I am a novice access user and my knowledge of the software is limited and non-existant when it comes to coding.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Okay, here is what I already have and what I am hoping to achieve,
I currently have a database with a number of archeological images and the details of those images in the following format:

I have forms with a thumbnail of the image and all its details and have created individual queries for search by image title etc.
I would like to have both a quick search and an advanced search function.
The quicksearch would use a single entry search (like a search bar) to search all fields in the image details table. Is this possible??
The advanced search would provide a form similar to the record form that could be completed to whatever degree and searched for.
Would I run into problems with some of my fields being drop down lists and could these be incorporated into this form?
I'm struggling to work out how to create these functions and have read countless tutorials- however I seem to be unble to put the relevant information into the context I need. Once again, any help much appreciated.
Thanks, Matt
