How do I delete a field in a table without creating a parameter to open a report?

Good evening all...

As I create this monster of a database, I am continually making changes to suit my needs. The problem is, through these changes, I am making more work for myself by deleting fields from tables and screwing up my very elaborate reports.

Is there a way to modify my tables and delete fields without creating a parameter to open the report that once held the field I deleted in the table?

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

If I hide the field in my report, can I delete the field in the table without creating a parameter?

I Just answered my own question. I deleted the field in the table, opened the report that contained the deleted field in design view, opened the property sheet, clicked the all tab, found the field that created the parameter and deleted it. Easy money. Now I can open my report without having to go through a parameter. It only took me a week to figure that one out. Good thing I can sit in front of a computer for 12 hours straight! Can I thank myself for this?

Deleting a field in a tavb;e causes issue elsewhere. Don't do it unless you kow everywhere it's used. HIde it in your report until you know where it's used elsewhere. Delete it in th table, it has to be deleted in the report record source and the report itself. Do you know what you're doing?

Do I know what I'm doing? Well, thats subjective... As far as the field mentioned above, I only had it in five reports that displayed the information. My database only has 70 to 75 objects with very few records yet, so it's not to the point yet where I can easily lose information. Thanks for the great advice though. I'll store that for later use.
