It has been a LONG time since I messed around with Microsoft Access and I am running in to a problem. I have a database setup and everything seems to be fine, except for one thing. Once I enter data in to a form, I cannot seem to see the records once they are saved. The data is definitely in the tables, but I cannot get it retrieved in the form view.

What the heck could I be doing wrong? Oh yeah, the first record entered does show up every time, but only that record. Any ideas? PLEASE!!!

Thanks much! Cheers.

Sounds like you may have the "Data Entry" property for the form set to Yes ... it should be No if you want to see existing records also.

Check 'Default View' in the forms Properties, it should be set to 'Continuous Forms'

That seems to have done it on my test database. I will try it on the production one.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Still not working....

Well, after checking the production database, I found that the Default properties were already set to continuous. I am still not able to view "all" the records in the database. This is way too weird.

Any other ideas?????

Cary,

This can be very subtle.

Is it possible to "strip down" your db, compact it, ZIP it
and post it?

This is probably not helpful...but I know that if you open your form with docmd. gotorecord,,,acnewrec

then you're only going to see the records you have entered at that time...Once you close the form and open again, it wont show previous records.

Does this help at all?

Make sure the Controls in the Form that show the data are in the Detail section, not the header or footer.
