I've asked a lot of questions here, and have now concluded that Runtime is neccessary for me. I'm using Access 2003 and I don't have the developer tools, or I don't think I do.

As far as I'm aware, my MS Works / Office are completely legit but it came pre-loaded so I don't have original disks.

I did find Runtime on the internet and downloaded it, I can now go part way through the process of deploying my database but come unstuck when the system wants to 'cache the language' and I don't have the discs.

I'm not looking for freebies, I want to use legal and legitimate software. I'm just looking for a solution and would be grateful for advice.

In A2003 and earlier Runtime is supplied as part of the Developer package. In A2007 Runtime is part of the standard package.

You either need to upgrade to A2007 or buy the developer Tools for A2003
