Is that kind of like the term web crawling? or caching?

Honestly I literally have no idea how the Internet and Search engines works any more. In 1998 someone explained it and I thought I understood.

Is it sort of like Blockchain Technology? Secretly almost no-one understands but we can all recite the pat explanations we've memorized, me included. My wife asked me a few months ago and I dutifully recited the explanation involving networks, blocks, algorithms, encryption and solving equations. I patted her on the shoulder and told her don't worry if you don't understand, it's complicated.
She thought I just as was smart as anything and I did NOT correct her, just held my head up a bit higher.:LOL:

But seriously, guys - we have to get in on this NFT nonsense. People are creating garbage art and auctioning them for 69 million as 'NFT'.
Now that, I will take seriously. On to study it tonight...

web crawling, yes. someone on a PHP forum once gave me a link to a page where I could download some resources that would tell me who is a robot and who isn't:

now what about blockchain tech and NFTs? are NFTs these?

i don't know much about any of that stuff. i don't mess with blockchain, but i know that there are a lot of criminals that mess with it.

Yes, that nft. I just want to make a few bucks for the family, if possible. Some of these things you just have to get in on early.
(Like the first guy to wake up one morning and decide to sell "grass fed eggs". It's brilliant, the youngsters will buy anything 'grass fed' these days, even if the animal it came from doesn't actually eat grass! But that's just a pesky detail)

i dont know much about nft's. but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you know what you're talking about.

I know very little. Only that they are digital files that are absolutely guaranteed to be unique - a copy can never be made identical - and they use blockchain technology, and people have made a lot of money making totally trivial nonsense as 'NFT's' - and just by virtue of them being nft's they have been ascribed some value and sold..........that's it.
Twelve-year-old boy makes £290,000 selling whale art NFTs (inews.co.uk)
