I created a report that shows the donor's giving for the year-listing each donation amount, date etc. It's source is a query that needs the donor ID number and then we can print the report-and depending on the donor activity results in printing one or more pages. I would like a way to avoid printing each report manually. Is there a way to run a macro where it would run a query to obtain all the donors (active donors from the file) then insert this into the report then print?

I am new at this and thanks for your help.

Here are some ideas that could help:

Simply put you'd like a report for ALL active donors with each donor's detail information printed on a new page(s), right?

The concept is either to eliminate the request for individual DonorID or use a criteria that includes an option for ALL.
See this thread which applies: Criteria option for "ALL"

When the report is designed you'll set your Sorting and Grouping in the report design view to keep the Donor information together for each new donor as a Whole group. The report PAGE header and/or PAGE Footer can have the standard information you want to display for each Individual report. You don't have to put anything in the REPORT header/footer.

To print each donor's record on a seperate page or pages see the help section of Access: "Set the option to print each record, group, or section on a seperate page"

If you need to restart page numbering for Donors who have a report of multiple pages see the help section of access: "Reset page numbers for each group in a report "

I hope this points you in the right direction,

Goh
