Say I have triggered an application from within VBA through the Application.FollowHyperlink command. This is set to strictly open and print a document, but I would like to close it after it is done instead of it hanging open.
Any ideas?
:D

I think that once you use the hyperlink, vba no longer cares about the application - the bond is broke.

Try automating the application, MS products integrate nicely, but others may give you some work.

Run code to open the app, open the document, print, and then close the app. I do this alot with printing excel sheets from access. Works great. You can even make the second app invisible so the user can't see it.
