Hi there.
Now I've been searching the web for days, without any luck hope U can help me.

I have 20 different regions and 53 different provinces. Each province has it's own group of zip-code.

ex:

COMUNIDAD VALENCIANA
03 Alicante
12 Castellon
46 Valencia

As you can see there is no connection between the name of the region and the provinces incl. zip-code, but of course it will allways be the same provinces who belong to the same region :-D

My problem is how to make a report who can put the right provinces into the right region-group.

Shall I use sub-reports or make some kind of a matrix-table with all the data ???

Any sugestions are rec¡eved with a biig smile.

Best regards
Soren

Would suggest that in the table that holds the province details you add a field called Region_ID. Then create an ID field in your regions table and you will now be able to link the provinces to a region. When you come to your report you can now group by region_id

Hi Harry.

Yep - I guess I have to do something like that. Right now I'm "playing" with a solution where I add the name of the Province to the table that hold my output-data. Trying to make an IF - ENDIF statement in SQL but I'm not quiet sure howto, something with an IIF I thing, no? :-)

Anyway - if my query "only" is a Select-Q is it then possible to add data to the output of the Q - I mean, it's kind of dynamic so where are the data, he he, if U can follow me :-)
Or is it better to create a new table with the Q and after printing the report - delete all the records in this table?

Well - I promised a biiiig smile and here it comes...

Thanks a lot :D
