How to create transaction footer?

I can create a transaction header by clickiing the grouping/sorting option to display the order master record data. However, is there any way to create a so-called transaction footer to achieve similiar purpose in report layout?? Thanks!!

Which version of Access are you using? You can display a footer from the grouping/sorting as well but it is buried a little in the 2007 or 2010 databases.

Thanks boblarson for your detalied explanation! I am now using 2007. But my colleagues should have to use 2000. Just want to know how he can also achieve the same purpose in 2000 to have transction header and transaction footer in his report. In not, then is there workaround solution to have the same effect? Thanks!
