Hi All,

I've devloped a database to track monthly statistics across various business units. There are 31 business units, and each unit has 45 statistics to report.

I have 6 tables:

tblDivision (is the table of all 31 divisions)
>pkDivID
>txtDivName

tblPerson (contains the names of 25 people - both manger and reporting officers in that division).
>pkPersonID
>txtFirstName
>txtLastname

tblMetricCategory (contains the "categories" each individual metric belong to).
>pkMetricCategory
>CategoryName

tblMetric (contains the various metrics)
>pkMetricID
>fkMetricCategoryID
>MetricName

tblDivisionPerson (states which person belong to which division).
>pkDivisionPersonID
>fkDivisionID
>fkPersonID
>DateEffective
>IsManager

>tblMonthlyResults (is the "heart" of the databas- keeps track of the monthly tallies - by looking at the Div ID / Metric ID / Date - i want to be able to record the metric in a form).
>pkFigures
>fkDivID
>fkMetricID
>MetricDate
>MetricValue

My "ideal" is to have a form with looks like this:

Business Unit: XXX
Jan / Feb / Mar / Apr
Metric 1
Metric 2
Metric 3

How do i go creating such a form? I'm attempting to do it with "tblMonthlyResults" but having some difficulties.

Any advice is appreciated. Mostly, how do i get the "data" for the dates to line up as above ...

Andrew.

You need to make a query that will how the data yo need then base the form on that

Thanks Rabbie,

I'm still slightly lost. I have a query developed "qryMetrics" with the following fields from the tables above:

>MetricName
>MetricValue
>MetricDate

How do i get the "metric value" to only display for a certain date? Would i have several "metricValues" as my fields in the query all with a different date critera? Am i on the right track?

Andrew.
