yes im posting here cause i cant post in forms forum for some reason.

i have hundreds of thumbnail images of people on the hard drive, they are named by their ID in a database. i want to be able to run a query and display in rows of about 6, pictures of the results of queries on a form. this result could be dozens of people at a time.
how do i do this?? i cant figure it out. need rows of pictures form an ID returned in a query.
I can do this with a single photo on a form but cant figure out how to return a query worth of photos on a form in rows of 6.

cant get it working.

there is no simple way to show them in rows.
contininous forms will show one picture per row, as it show one record per row.

create a query that will take pictures 1, 7, 13, 19...
another query that will take pictures 2, 8, 14, 20...
another that will take pictures 3, 9, 15, 21...
....
join all the queries together puting each query into a different field

you can also try something similar to what I did in my Schedule form - http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=187707
use some code to move to the next/previous set of pictures.
hint - you must know what is the first and last pictures/records you show each time, and when you use the next/previous button look for these records and show the correct set.
