How to do a 2 for £5 promotion

I have a order system like the one in Northwind db, the problem that I have is need to implement 2 for £5 offer on one product, any ideas on how to do that?

that works for even no. not odd, If they chose 3 for ex, it will be a hassle to select it, it will be 2 different products?

What is the company policy? Must they buy 2 or can they buy 1 and pay 2.50? If they buy 3 is the price 7.50? or (5 + the original single price)?

You also need to work out the return policy. If they bought 2/5 and returned 1, is the refund 2.5 or (5 - the cost for 1)?

Well the company's policy is that if you buy 1 it is £3, 2 is for £5, 3 is £5 + £3 = £8, and so on.

I ended up doing another product called 2 for £5 promotion of original product.
