How to do this

I have a form and a subform and within a the main form, there is a autonumber field.

I want to set my autonumber to activate only upon exit from the main form.

Anyone can help.

I kinda don't undertsand what you are saying, "activate".

Your autonumber should only be for internal use, it should not be seen/used by the end-user.

Further to my question above. I want the autonumber to start each time only when I exit from my main form to subform. The reason is just incase, I find that I don;t want this data. I can stop then i won't get a number.

I want the PCNo to set as a control.

I have a database that I am happy to give that you can pull apart to see how it works using unbound forms and nothing gets saved until the OK button on ther form is clicked.

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

richard_tan69@hotmail.com"
Is there a size limit on your e-mail account. or do you have another.

E-mail me again As I still want to sent yopu the file.
