I have a report that has two levels of grouping. It first groups by company location. For each location the report calculates the number of different absences by days. What I am trying to do is to create a calculation that will give me for each type of absence type the percentage for that location. Example

Location 1
emp illness 5
Family illness 17

These counts are computed by the report grouping. So for location one there are 22 days of absence. The report needs to show the following

Location 1
emp illness 5 22.7%
Fam illness 17 77.3 %

Thanks for any insight.

Thank you! Your solution works beautifully. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to look at this.

happy coding Mr.Steve!

I have implemented your solution and it working fine. However, I have to come up with a design change. I need an efficient way to multi select illness reasons. Most reports will list all but some require just a few out of a total of 20. With my previous design I could easily do this as the main query had all the raw data. I could use some guidance on how to approach this with your efficient query structure that summarizes the data. Thanks again,

Steve
