how to get form to display data not auto number

In my database I am using 2 forms that are the same except for the subforms. In the second form instead of displaying the actual data for a specific field, it displays only the autonumber related to the data in question for that particular field. I know this probably easy to figure out but i am at a standstill. Thanks in advance!!

Maybe it is because you set the Control Source for that field to be the ID field. Change the control Source to somthing else.
