Hello.

I have attached a small snippet of a spreadsheet that i have. all the fields will reamin the same. its just that there will be a lot more data.

what i would like to do is find out the cost related per person, per project and per person per project.

what i have attached is an excel file. i thikn it would be best to do it in access though as in the next few months it is likely to grow OR would it be to do it elsewhere???

i have no idea of how to go about it. please can anyone advise??

thanks in Advance. :)

Your spreadsheet didn't attach. You need to zip it first, if you didn't.

Re:

I'm trying to create a drop down box, within a form, for a query in access 2003. any ideas?

is there a wizard that will do it for me?

also i want a few drop down boxes that only display options based on the the previous combo box. any ideas how i do that ?

thanks

simply use the toolbox to add a combo box, within that box you can change the Row Source to be based on a table or query (doesn't matter for the first one)

Do the same again, only this time your Row Source will be a query with the criteria based on the value above.
