How to identify a charector

Hi all
I have field Name called EMPNAME

The records like this,

Brian,Smith
Ray,Vernner
Ken,Ibrahim

Now I want to separete them as Firstname: Brain
How do I find the comma "," in a text?

You will have to write a VBA function to do this. I have seen threads in the past talk about similar problems. Try searching for Pharsing text.
