How to let multiple people use db across network

Anyone know what options I need to set so that colleagues can use a database I create while I'm in it? I need about 3 or 4 people to be able to access this db at the same time.

You can do this if everyone joins a workgroup that you set up and no-one (except you, the administrator) has Exclusive Open permissions. When you are going to exercise your Admin rights, you probably want to have a different account then when you merely want to be a user.

Search the form for the topic of WorkGroup Security and variations thereof. Anything on this topic by Pat Harman or me in the last couple of years will give you loads more than you ever wanted to know about setting up a shared database. Also, Vassago and KenHiggs may have touched this topic more than once.
