I have prepared a data base for a call center and officer are using this application that contains a form named "customer information" which contains customer name, city, telephone number etc. I've make field locked so users can not change customer information from the form.

further, I've insert a child form named "update form" in it where officers update what they speak with customer during calls, all information updated with automated time and date in a table.

My problem is that by scrolling back users may change previously updated record. Need your assistance in order to resolve this issue.

thanks for your prompt response, can you please describe in detail.

@Uncle Gazimo... actually I write several codes but they are not working right now I've not any code...

I don't understand your problem exactly but if you don't want them to edit the existing data, try changing the forms property Allow Edits to No and see if that does what you want.

@sneuberg thanks for your response I didn't find allow edit in form properties.

can anyone respond to my query!!!!!!!

hey I got the solution:

in form properties > format tab > Navigation Buttons > No
in form properties > Other > cycle > Current record

simple.

now my user are unable to view previous records. if they can not see how they can modify or edit that...

so simple..............

What happens if they press page up ?

@Minty No change with Page up and page down.
