Hi All,
I am not able to export the 'Total Row' to an excel spreadsheet. I have tried both ImportExportSpreadsheet and ExportWithFormatting. No Use. But have you ever observed that if you export through the Export section under the External Data tab in the Datasheet view of any query or table the Total Row also gets exported. How to do it through code? Thank you.

You have 274 posts, and I'd expect that you by now have realized, that we do not have remote vision.

Show what your problem is every time: include screenshots or attachments. So that there is no doubt and no need to ask "what do you mean..."

Also, skip BS-phrases like "no use". You need to convey exactly what you attempted and what the result was, and how that deviated from the desired outcome. Note these 3 required elements! Do not interpret what you see, because that also is open for interpretation thus needing clarification. If in doubt read my signature again and again.

There is a total row which becomes visible in datasheet view when we press the zigma button (Looks like W put on horizontally). I tried exporting the query having the Total Row enabled using the ImportExportSpreadsheet and ExportWithFormatting macro actions but the output doesn't include the Total Row. But when I try exporting directly by clicking the 'Export to Excel' from the datasheet view it does include the Total Row in the output. How to make the Total Row come in the Excel output through code? Is it possible?

I'd never noticed that functionality before, I'm guessing it's a accdb format goody.

There is no option in VBA to preserve formatting as far as I can see and that's the only way it seems to carry the total over. The other problem is that it doesn't store the calculation only the value, so you have no idea what the value is outside of access.
