How to minimise/hide the object viewer (The thing to view forms/queries etc)?

Hi guys

I just want to minimise the grey object viewer thing (on startup) so that the users don't see it. Anyone know how? I load a switchboard when i startup so i could use an onload for that, but what would the code be to refer to that screen?

Are you referring to the database window where you can select which object [table, form, etc.] that you want to open? If so, check out this thread for code samples... hide all Access tool bars and menu bars

you can set those settings from Tools -> Startup menu. However, if you would like to hide them for security reasons, better have a look at the link recommended by ghudson
