Hi

I have 2 queries/reports that work fine.

Report 1: Print out student absence details, 1 sheet per student
Report 2: Print out Exam results, again 1 sheet per student.

I want to be able to print both Reports on 1 sheet. Absence on 1 side and Exam on the other (we have a duplex printer)

Is this at all possible?

Many thanks

There are a couple of ways of doing this:

The easiest would be to print all the absence reports, re-insert the paper into the printer and then print the Exam results. This would require that both reports print the students in the same order.

The second would require the Exam report be a sub-report of the Absence report. If you are using standard 8.5 X 11 paper, set the top and bottom margins to 1". Place the Exam subreport in the Report Footer section. Ensure that the Absence report uses exactly 9 inches (do this by adding the height of the Absence Report Header, the height of the Page Header, and the height of the detail. Adjust the page footer to make up the extra height).
If you print this report with Duplex on in the Print Control Panel, you should get what you want.
When you start, use the Print Preview function as some height adjustments may be needed.
THIS WILL NOT WORK if the Exam report detail section has different numbers of entries. Example, Student A has 5 exam results, but Student B only has 3.
