How to protect a range of cells in an unprotected work sheet?

Guys,

I need some assistance if possible.

I have a worksheet with drop down lists in it and a range of cells containing formulas.

I would like to protect the work sheet, but without disabling the drop down lists, so the user can select items from the list to be calculated by the formulas, but in turn cannot delete the lists or edit the formulas?

Any ideas?

For the cells with drop down values, highlight the cells, format, protection, uncheck protection.

when you protect the sheet, check 'select unlocked cells'
