Just wondering if anyone could offer some assistance...
My client has a 'Fasthosts' reseller account, and are developing a site which contains a relatively small - and very legitimate I might add - mailing list of roughly 200 addresses. All email content is built dynamically with ASP and delivered in small chunks of around 20 using CDONTS, as and when needed.
Trouble is this may grow significantly to 2000+ addresses in the near future, hence 'small chunks' will become larger, and Fasthosts will freak.
Question is, bearing in mind I've little experience with sending anything other than the odd CDONTS mail, what would be the best way to allow these mails to be sent without getting in trouble with the hosting company?
They tell me to use an alternative SMTP service for sending these mails? How do I do that?
Anyone got any recommendations?
