How to sort the columns in a datasheet subform

i have a list of phone numbers and there is a check box to say if its inactive. i would like to have it so that is always moves the inactive ones to the bottom(desending). any ideas?

All forms, including subforms, have an Order By property. When do you want to move the inactive items to the bottom of the list? After you you click the checkbox? Or when you save the record?

In any case, have some code in the AfterUpdate event of the checkbox or the subform to set the Order By property of the subform. Check the Access help for more info, but the format of the assignment is like the ORDER BY of a SQL clause like this:
Me.OrderBy="[Phone] DESC"
