How to stop repetative typing

Hi

I am fairly new to this and have set up tables to include specific details. I need to type in a name works number etc on a person already entered. So how do I once details have been entered stop having to put them in again. I have created a form for data entry

Dlookup Is Probable The Best Way

If the persons details are brought up after entering a unique identifying code I would use the AFTERUPDATE property of that text box to use DLOOKUP's based on that code to populate the relevant fields.
