Hi, Good Evening!

For some event, such as On not in list, Access displays 2 messages, which conflict to my message. Is there any way to suppress Access message , or replace its content with mine?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Chris

you need to include DataErrContinue as follows:

This is the code I have on a not in list

Private Sub JobSearch_NotInList(NewData As String, Response As Integer)

MsgBox " No corresponding job found.", vbOKOnly, "Record Not Found"
Response = acDataErrContinue
JobSearch.Undo

End Sub

Hi, Thanks very much. Your coding works. I was so glad to see the term "acDataErrContinue ". What is acDataErrContinue ? I have been searching for its resource. I thought it was an Action constant, but I can not find it on the Action Constants list. I made a post 3 days ago. No one gives an answer . Could you further help me about this? Your help is really appreciated. Chris:) :)

I think jfgambit was referring to croby, not you Pat. Pause between the eeeeewwwww and the Pat.
