You are quite right. That was only a joke. I just received an advice that the site was created by a student at M.I.T.

The point is I met an Animal Control Officer for Prince William County while waiting for the trial to start. I asked him about the cats near my shop he was fully aware of the problem. That’s when I found out there are over a thousand down there. The area I’m referring to is only about 1 square kilo.
It turns out that Prince William has “leash law” for cats. So the county in unable to legally capture the wild cats the way they can for dogs.
We must have some real cat loving members on our county board.

Probably, I know there’s Rabies around here.
The other day I had the shop door open and I was in the office, 2 of them were emboldened to enter.
I will probably do some house cleaning in spring, if the winter is not very severe.

In Florida, there are leash laws for ALL pets, including cats. It doesn't mean anyone actually follows it, but it's nice to use against a neighbor who keeps letting their cats deficate in the volleyball court.
