Hi,

I've got an access database linked to an online ODBC DB with a PHP front end.

I want to be able to use a HTML editor to edit details held in a memo field to add Bold Tags, underline etc, in a WYSIWYG type way on the Access Database.

I've found some help in the forums... but none that I can get working
http://http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=105815&highlight=html+editor

Just seeing if anyone knows of a plugin... or an easier solution...

Cheers

Mike

Hi,
I couldn't get to the link you posted so I'm not sure what advise you have received before. Are you saying you want to display text data in a memo field in a formatted manner? What version of Access are you using? Access 2007 implements an internal native rich text control which stores HTML formatting tags and shows the data formatted appropriately at the form and report level. In versions before 2007 you need to implement a third party active x control e.g.:
01
02
...
To display HTML within access you can integrate the WebBrowser active x control. If you actually want to use edit HTML within Access you might find this sample helpful.
HTH
Good luck

LOL...

Im sooo glad i asked... the A2KSHTML was the one I has been working with but couldnt get going...

I just decided to give it another go (as u must have got it going ok)... and I must enter some text prior to editing the text to add html tags... or it just crashes n repairs.

Opps... Thanks again..

Glad you got it sorted out.
Good luck on future projects!
